Our beautifully appointed, year-round guest accommodation in Brae at the north end of the Shetland mainland offers the perfect place to stay while visiting Shetland. We are 18 miles from Lerwick and 35 miles from Sumburgh Airport. It provides an eclectic mix of the old and the new and is ideal for exploring the North Mainland and the Northern Isles of Yell, Unst and Fetlar.

In the evenings we offer an A La Carte Menu. This Menu requires a pre order in advance. Evening meals are on a bookings only basis and not available every evening. Robert & Leslie are fantastic! They provided the catering for 220 people at our wedding meal & it was absolutely outstanding.

Drumquin Guest House is a former Victorian Schoolhouse which has been extensively refurbished to provide guests with modern and cosy Shetland accommodation outside of the capital Lerwick.
We also provide high quality dining, sourcing some of the best local produce.
We have 8 guest rooms with a combination of Single and Double accommodation.
We no longer have a Twin facility.

This can be catering for weddings, business lunches or community events, to name a few.
We have catered events for 30 guests up to 150 guests and will do our best to meet your requirements.
We are able to offer set menu options as well as buffets and can (usually) manage any venue, whether it be a community hall or somewhere a bit more unusual!

Northmavine boasts some of the most stunning scenery in Shetland with walks aplenty.
The cliffs at Eshaness, approximately a 25 minute drive from Drumquin, are simply breathtaking and a walk along the coast towards Da Grind O' Da Navir will show you some of our outstanding geology.
