Duke House
Drawing on our many years of travel experience, we have designed Duke House to meet a level of comfort and service that our guests will find truly memorable. Duke House is owned by Liz and Rob Cameron. Before establishing Duke House, Liz spent most of her career in the graphic design industry. Her appreciation of good design is matched with a passion for customer service.

And her commitment to sustainable development is mirrored in the recent renovation and in the products we serve. Liz, Tina and Carmen work with a team of local suppliers to deliver a high level of comfort and quality to our guests. Nestling alongside Christ's Pieces, one of Cambridge's oldest green spaces, Duke House offers a haven of peace and tranquility, yet all the city's historic colleges and attractions are within just a few hundred metres.

The Grand Arcade, Cambridge's premier shopping venue, is within three minutes walk.
Services
Whether you are in Cambridge on business or pleasure, Duke House is perfectly suited for a relaxing stay.
Our beautiful guest rooms, personal service and central location will help make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
If you are visiting for a special occasion - graduation, wedding, birthday celebration, reunion - just let us know and we will do all we can to make sure you have everything you need to make it perfect.
If you would like help planning your stay let us know and for a small fee we can arrange a personal itinerary for you including bookings, tickets etc.
Five en-suite guest rooms have been tastefully designed with our guests' comfort and convenience in mind.
Each room has its own character, combining historic touches with modern luxuries.
We also offer a lovely self-catering apartment, perfect for visitors wanting a little more independence.
Luxurious goose down duvets and pillows - warm in winter, cool in summer (hypo-allergenic alternatives available).
Our breakfast menu is designed to ensure that your day gets off to the best possible start.
Our aim at breakfast is to offer an excellent choice of quality seasonal foods and pretty much everything is sourced locally, apart from the cheese, which actually comes all the way from the Snowdonia Cheese Company - our favourites are their Lancashire Bomb and Cranberry Cheddar.
Everything else comes from Cambridge or nearby and our preferred place to shop for local produce is the market, where we buy our free range eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and fruit - our autumn choices are figs and golden plums whilst the fruit compote is local apple and blackberry.
The Duchess sitting room is a key feature of life at Duke House.
Here you can relax in comfort and tranquillity.
Elegantly dressed in embroidered linens and paints from Paint Library, Liz has created the Duchess Room to combine comfort and beauty.
We provide complimentary teas and coffee, together with a daily sweet treat to keep you going!
The Duchess Room will occasionally host events and talks on subjects as diverse as globalisation and sustainability, theatre in business, and the growth of Fairtrade, bringing added vibrancy to Duke House.
All rooms have en-suite facilities and all guests have use of the sitting room, breakfast room and balcony - we are just a 5 minute walk to the centre of the historic university city of Cambridge.
Prices are per double en-suite room, per night with breakfast, for 2 people inclusive of VAT at 20%.
Please note the Company operates a two night minimum stay policy at weekends in our B&B rooms and a 3 night minimum stay at all times in our self-catering apartment.
The exception to this is a one night stay booking can be made, subject to availability, within one week of your proposed arrival date.
