The Harrison Family have run The Ship since 1982. We offer you a warm welcome to our original 3 Star Village Inn located just a few metres from the beach. Aberdaron is the last stop on the pilgrims' route to Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island), which is said to be the resting place of 20,000 saints! Visit Aberdaron and enjoy fabulous coastal walks, fishing trips, sightseeing boat trips and fun on the beach.

Our chefs at the Ship Restaurant use locally sourced fresh ingredients to create delicious dishes. We regularly serve award winning fresh locally caught Crab and Lobster. Gwesty'r Ship - The Ship Hotel, managed by the Harrison family since 1982, is located in the centre of the village of Aberdaron, just a few metres away from the sandy beach.
The picturesque seaside village is located at the very tip of the Lln Peninsula, North West Wales, within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Llyn Peninsula forms part of the Heritage Coastline and much of the nearby coastline is owned and managed by the National Trust.

Whilst here, be sure to try the specially named ale "Brenin Enlli (The Bardsey King)", produced by local brewery Cwrw Llyn of nearby Nefyn.
It's also within a short drive from Llyn Peninsula's finest beach, Porth Oer (Whistiling Sands).
Aberdaron's beach is made up mostly of sand with the odd large rock around.
It is situated directly adjacent to the village centre.
Dogs are allowed on the part of the beach to the left of the slipway and the beach is also good for surfers if the conditions are right.
This is definitely one of the most noteworthy beaches on the Lln where the sand actually "whistles" under your feet.
There is a small cafe/shop on the beach and the National Trust car park is located only a small walk away from the beach.
