The Green Park Hotel is a friendly family run Hotel, located at the edge of the beautiful and historic Sefton Park, just five minutes from Liverpool City Centre and less than ten minutes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The Park has excellent walks, a Palm House and picturesque lakes and fountains. Liverpool is the ideal place in which to enjoy a short break, offering numerous shops, visitors' attractions, bars, restaurants, and night clubs.

The hotel building was originally an Edwardian cotton merchants house and has been in the hands of the Family run hotel Business for the last 20 years. The Green Park Hotel offers Bed and Breakfast facilities without the City Prices and is regulary used by Business people and the weekend tourist who wish to explore and enjoy the culture and attractions within Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

Also, the registered address of the card holder and a contact telephone number. Rooms are available from 2pm on date of arrival & should be vacated at 11am on date of departure. Just opposite the Green Park Hotel is possibly one of the best Indian Restaurants we know, the Royal Tandoori (0151 733 6816) this restaurant serves huge portions at great prices. read more › From the Green Park Hotel Penny Lane is only a 5 Minute walk. Since the release of the Beatle's famous Song the Penny Lane area has acquired a distinct trendiness and desirability. The area has an expanded array of cafes, bars, bistros, and takeaway food emporiums. We would recommend to any of our guests to take time out and have a visit to the lane where you can get a haircut in the Barber shop or simply relax in the famous Penny Lane Wine Bar and Bistro. The song's title is derived from the name of a street near Lennon's house, in the band's hometown, Liverpool.

Its a great place to spend a lazy afternoon and all the locals will be out having a packed lunch and a good chill with friends. Sefton Park in Liverpool is arguably the best known and most loved by locals. The magnificent 200-acre Park looks like a natural landscape rather than a man-made park. In spring the sight of millions of golden daffodils around the lake draws residents from across the city and carpets of bluebells give an impression of rural permanence.

Located on Beaconsfiled Road in the suburb of Woolton in Liverpool, Strawberry Field was the name of a Salvation Army Children's Home around the corner from John Lennon's childhood home. In 1966, the song, "Strawberry Fields Forever" was written by John Lennon and recorded by the Beatles. The Beatles song 'Strawberry Fields Forever' was mainly drawn from early beginnings in John Lennnon's life whilst living with his Aunt Mimi in Mendips on Menlove Avenue near Woolton Liverpool.
