Millbrook Cottage Guesthouse is a 18th Century historic Grade II Listed Building, nestled in the corner of the beautiful National Trust conservation area of Nether Alderley, a treasure trove of history on it's doorstep. Millbrook has in the past been an Inn, a farm and the village shop. It has been lovingly restored to include modern facilities, whilst still retaining a wealth of original features.

They include oak beamed ceilings, a hand carved 13th century oak staircase, lead & glass windows and a stone fireplace. Millbrook Cottage is only a mile away from Alderley Edge, a picturesque village where you can shop and dine or simply go for a walk along Artist lane and over Alderley Edge, with its enchanted wood where the wizard Merlin reputably has his bolthole, or just enjoy the stunning views over Cheshire.

For those working in the area, we are literally walking distance from the Astrazeneca Alderley Park complex.
Services
Outside our B&B's front door is the 15th century Elizabethan Water-Corn Mill, down the lane you will discover St. Mary's 14th century church which shelters under the shadow of a 1200 year old Yew tree in its churchyard and alongside, the Old School House and the Stanley family Mausoleum.
On the other side of the lane is a lovely Tudor cottage; the former Eagle & Child Inn.
