Shuna Guest House
Shuna is a small, family-run guesthouse in Croyde, just five minutes walk from the beach and the village making it ideal for holidays in Croyde. Outside, our views are towards the sea and Baggy Point at the front, and beautiful Devon countryside at the rear. Inside our b&b in Croyde, all our rooms are en-suite, comfortable, have free wi-fi and are spotlessly clean.

To achieve this, please note we do not offer accommodation for children or pets at Shuna. You won't be short of things to do. Croyde Bay is a surfers and coastal walkers paradise, the South West Coast Path is on our doorstep, and Saunton Sands golf course is just a couple of miles away. There are plenty of good pubs such as The Thatch and restaurants nearby and an indoor swimming pool complex at Ruda Croyde Bay and at Croyde Unison that members of the public can use.
Services
Annie has lived most of her life in North Devon.
She grew up at Pickwell Manor Farm a couple of miles away, and went to school in the neighbouring village of Georgeham.
Her grandmother ran Pickwell Manor hotel for many years, and her mother had holiday flats for rent on the farm.
Annie met husband Aldo while living in Australia for a time, but they returned to North Devon in 1999.
You can see three bays from there - Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe.
Even in winter, when I trudge up there in the rain and mud and it's biting cold, I never tire of that view.'
We will do everything we can to make your stay comfortable and restful.
We have three double bedrooms, all very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean.
All rooms are en-suite and have power showers, televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.
This first floor room is particularly bright and airy, with views towards Croyde Bay and Baggy Point.
This first floor room looks out over the garden and the fields that rise behind the house.
This first floor room has a private balcony and uninterrupted views over the Devon countryside.
We serve breakfast from eight-o-clock to half past nine, and offer plenty of choices - from exotic fruit salad to a traditional English fried breakfast.
Annie does all the cooking herself, and whenever possible uses locally sourced ingredients - the eggs, for instance, are all free-range and come from a farm a couple of miles down the road.
Although we only provide breakfast, there are plenty of good local pubs and restaurants for lunch and dinner.
If you want to venture further afield, Barnstaple Tourist Information Centre has more recommendations.
It is best to book your stay well in advance, particularly in summer, but of course you can also contact us at the last minute.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with one of the finest surfing beaches in the country, Croyde has been a popular holiday destination for more than a century.
The South West Coast Path - just two minutes from our door - takes you straight down onto the beach.
Tides are strong, attracting surfers from far and wide.
The bay faces due West, and in the evening, as the surfers leave, you can sit and watch the most spectacular sunset.
Choose from plenty of glorious walks and spectacular views.
