West Dorset Cottages are The Burrow, Chiddy Nook and Gingerbread Cottage, all owned by Jane and Laurie in the beautiful coastal village of Chideock between Bridport and Lyme Regis. Brimming with charm, Chiddy Nook was originally the Coach House to the main establishment, Warren House, so low beamed ceilings and quirky features abound in this much-loved holiday home.

Gingerbread Cottage is Jane and Laurie's most recent holiday home addition, and you can see much of the same 'Chiddy Nook' charm here too. You'll love the many character features including exposed beams and window seats. The Burrow in the Warren is a beautiful, thatched, stone-built self catering cottage, situated in Chideock near Bridport, in West Dorset.

If you are a Broadchurch follower you will recognise that nearby West Bay is Broadchurch, with the distinctive east cliffs and other stunning locations where the recent hit TV show was filmed. Situated within the grounds of a Warren House, Chiddy Nook was originally the Coach House to Warren House, so low beamed ceilings and quirky features abound.
Recently converted, this comfortable and well equipped accommodation has an open plan living area with exposed stonework and beams.
The cottage is cool in the summer and equally welcoming in winter benefitting from the warmth of an electric burner on chilly nights.
Gingerbread Cottage is Jane and Laurie's most recent holiday home addition, and you can see much of the same 'Chiddy Nook' charm here too.

Gingerbread Cottage is a pretty period stone and thatched cottage situated opposite the village church and enjoying upstairs countryside views.
The cottage is believed to have origins dating back about 300 years and has recently been acquired and lovingly furnished by Jane and Laurie.
The Burrow in the Warren is a newly available, beautiful, thatched, stone-built self catering cottage, situated in Chideock near Bridport, in West Dorset.
Sleeping 4/5 people, the cottage is situated perfectly to enjoy all the attractions that the Jurassic Coast has to offer.
Set across 3 floors, the cottage comprises of 1 master bedroom, 1 walk-through double bedroom and a single nook.
There are 2 bathrooms, a fitted kitchen, living/dining space with feature fireplace and a separate reading area.
At Seatown beach, head to the left towards Golden Cap and you will find the best fossils amongst the clay.
You'll find Chiddy Nook and Gingerbread Cottage in the heart of the historic and picturesque village of Chideock, in West Dorset.
The village is ideally located for country walks, seaside holidays and fossil hunting and is well served by public transport - the 31 bus (Weymouth to Axminster) and the popular X53 'Jurassic Coast' (Poole to Exeter) both pass through the village.
CHIDEOCK: Chideock features a local shop, two excellent pubs The George Inn and The Clock Inn and is less than a mile's walk from the stunning World Heritage Jurassic coastline, and the quaint hamlet of Seatown.
