Stylish and recently refurbished, our cosy Victorian townhouse is the perfect base to explore this delightful corner of England. Personally run for many years as a bed & breakfast. We are members of Cumbria Tourism and independently assessed by Quality Cumbria.

Breakfast is personally served in the ground floor dining room, with a choice of juices, cereals, toast and preserves.
Our English breakfast, all locally sourced, offers a choice of award winning Cumberland sausage, dry-cured back bacon, free range eggs, with grilled tomatoes, sauted mushrooms and crispy fried bread.
The vegetarian breakfast includes sausages, free range eggs, grilled tomatoes, sauted mushrooms, hash browns and baked beans.
For the lighter appetite, why not try our own home made muesli with a choice of fresh fruit and yoghurt followed by hot toast, blossom honey and preserves?
