Services
We are delighted to welcome you to our peaceful and spacious five bedroom home set within its own estate of 19 acres and with views towards the sea and Caldey Island.
An award winning luxury Bed and Breakfast with a difference, we have two luxury rooms - one on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
Four double rooms are on the 1st floor, three with spectacular views across the Ritec Fen - a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) - to the sea and beyond to Caldey Island, and the fourth with views across to our top woodland.
There is always a warm welcome at St Lawrence - in more ways than one!
We are always delighted to meet our guests, and being south facing, the house and the gardens certainly make the most of the summer sunshine!
Relax with a glass of wine after a long day enjoying the delights of Pembrokeshire, or perhaps curl up with a good book.
Or simply sink into one of the sumptuous sofas in the lounge - with the same stunning views you can just sit back and enjoy.
From the East: Follow the M4 to J49 (Pont Abraham services), then take A48 to Carmarthen, and then the A40 (signposted Fishguard and St. Clears), followed by the A477 signposted to Tenby, Pembroke and Pembroke Dock.
The easiest approach is to remain on the A477 until the roundabout at Carew airfield near Sageston.
Then take the first left onto the B4318 signposted Tenby.
Once on the B4318, continue for 3.5 miles and you will see the Gumfreston sign on the left hand side of the road.
Directly after this, in the dip and to the right, are two signs: St Lawrence Country Guest House, and Gumfreston Church and Holy Wells.
There are nineteen acres of pasture, woodland and garden that offer the peace and relaxation that many guests seek.
The grounds around the house have many seated areas to relax and enjoy the lovely views over the Ritec Valley to the sea and Caldey Island.
Being south facing we catch the sun all day long.
Our Old English rose garden, filled with award-winning David Austin Roses, will revitalise your senses with its beauty and fabulous perfumes.
Visit our newly planted orchards.
We have thirty-three varieties of apple and also grow pears, plums, cherries, quince and crab apples.
St Lawrence Country Guest House is lucky enough to be situated on one of the most beautiful parts of the Bristish coastline.
The South Pembrokeshire Heritage Coast is world renowned for its spectacular beaches and its National Park status.
No other county in Britain has more Blue Flag beaches or seaside awards than Pembrokeshire.
Come and experience it!
