The Mytton & Mermaid Hotel This is a magnificent grade II listed building, standing on the banks of the River Severn, it has been tastefully decorated and captures the charms of its original coaching inn days, reflecting an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. The coaching inn has been awarded 4 AA stars and a coveted AA rosette for quality food and service in a welcoming environment.

Food is served all day and the range of menus feature fresh seasonal produce produced by the talented kitchen brigade. The venue benefits from a central location and is ideal for weddings, meetings and functions alike. Resident guests can enjoy a range of short breaks in well appointed bedrooms. Select from a quality range of doubles, twins and singles including 3 superior doubles in the main building.

Some bedrooms are located on ground floor level adjacent to the courtyard. Travel cots and foldaway beds are available for children. All rooms include a complimentary breakfast. At the Mytton and Mermaid coaching inn we pride ourselves on using Shropshire produce wherever possible and regularly update menus to reflect the changing seasons.

Guests may select from guest rooms located in the historic coaching inn, in our courtyard, or in our Bramble Cottage. Travel cots and foldaway beds can be put in some of the rooms to accommodate families. All rooms are en suite and have a fine range of teas and coffees provided on the complimentary beverage trays. Complimentary breakfast for our guests is served in the restaurant.

The Mytton and Mermaid is a privately owned coaching inn and prides itself on being able to personalize for your needs. We have completely refurbished the coaching inn bringing it back to what we consider its original glory. All of our conference rooms offer free wifi access.
