Dorothy & Wilf Turner offer you a warm welcome to South View Farm Bed and Breakfast which is located near the historic city of Exeter in the South of Devon. Our lovely house occupies a sunny position away from the farm buildings and is situated on the edge of the small tranquil village of Shillingford St George, just 2 miles from A30 & A38 with excellent access to the M5.

Conveniently located near to the Cathedral City of Exeter, Exeter University and Exeter airport, ideal for business or the discerning traveller. Light refreshment is served on arrival in the guests lounge or on the patio (weather permitting). This is a Devonshire haven providing a peaceful base for a relaxing holiday with family or friends, or those seeking a romantic weekend break.

Explore the spectacular wild rugged moor land of Dartmoor, stroll the coastal path, and discover quaint village inns providing a selection of good wholesome food. There are several National Trust properties and gardens to enjoy within easy reach.
Services
We have two beautiful Double/Twin/Single rooms available in our Exeter B&B, each with their own en-suite bathrooms.
We also have have one Family bedroom with a private bathroom with a bath & shower (towels and toiletries are provided).
All of our bedrooms contain a radio, hairdrier, television and tea & coffee making facilities.
There is also free wireless broadband connection for all our guests.
Our South View Farm breakfast is lovingly prepared (using fresh, local produce wherever possible - including our own free range eggs) and cooked on our Aga at a time to suit you.
When staying at South View B&B why not enjoy a spot of fishing at one of our three nearby fishing lakes.
Our lakes are well stocked and situated near the city of Exeter and are set in 6 acres of the peace and tranquil Devon Countryside.
The lakes regularly produced rewarding catches for our guests who often comment on how good the fishing is.
For those that like to be close to nature the lakes are surrounded by a variety of established trees and vegetation, creating a haven for many species of wildlife.
Trying to find things to do in and around Devon is a simple task.
Through out Devon you are spoilt for choice.
Regardless of whether you are into walking, cycling, sailing, horse riding, fishing or just relaxing over a Devon cream tea, enjoying the stunning views and peaceful surroundings.
Nature reserves, bird watching on the Exe estuary, Exminster marshes, Dawlish winter sitings of Avocets.
For the more adventurous the ' Jurassic Coast ' and a trip to the' Lost gardens of Heligan' or ' Eden ' all within a day.
The Exe Room is light airy and one of our most spacious rooms.
There are fabulous views over our garden and the open Devon countryside.
This room may sleep up to three adults and benefits from a luxury en-suite bathroom having a walk-in shower.
The room is named after the River Exe which rises on Exmoor at 1450 feet, the fast flowing water follows steep wooded valleys through the beautiful Exe Valley, then gently meandering over 60 miles before reaching the sea at Exmouth.
The Teign Room is a lovely double bedroom that has fabulous views over our garden.
Having it's own en-suite bathroom, this room is ideal for couples who are seeking peace and tranquillity in a lovely setting.
The room is named after the river Teign which rises from boggy open moorland on Dartmoor at 1700 feet.
Flowing some 61 miles before joining the sea at Teignmouth where it is diverted past a sand bar at a narrow point with strong changeable currents.
