Tregongeeves is nestled in a quiet valley in mid Cornwall, with a country pub within walking distance.

There are many beautiful places on our doorstep, and every part of the county is within easy reach including the beaches, countryside and the world-famous Eden Project.

The carpets are plush and soft underfoot and plank wood furniture and plump sofas add to the contemporary feel. As with all our cottages, Swallows is renovated to a high standard. A new, contemporary style kitchen has been installed for 2018. Stone walls and exposed beams emphasise the original character of the building. At Tregongeeves, we want you to switch off and unwind as soon as you arrive, so we go the extra mile to make sure that everything is taken care of.

read more › Hedgerows is at the edge of our cluster of cottages on Tregongeeves Farm. Hedgerows has its own enclosed garden, which overlooks the paddocks. We think this cottage is ideal for containing small, adventurous children - while you relax and enjoy the views. Hedgerows allows one small family pet. The bedrooms are downstairs, with a cosy single bedroom, a shower room and a double bedroom that was originally a bullpen. Now furnished with a king-size bed, this double room opens out onto the garden through a stable door.

read more › Donkey Mill is the largest of our holiday cottages, with a stunning wood burner to cuddle up in front of, its own patio garden and views over a patchwork of countryside where our donkeys, sheep and horses graze. Dressed in traditional country-cottage style and providing ample room for a family of six, this was originally the mill house where the donkeys turned the mill wheel. Downstairs the rooms interlink around a central wall, creating spacious open plan living accommodation that spills out onto the private patio through double doors.

Three of our cottages are completely dog-friendly and come with their own outside space and doggie treats; Hedgerows, which sleeps 3, Corner Cottage, which sleeps 2 plus a cot, and Quakers which sleeps 4. We've thoroughly tested our dog-friendly cottages to make sure they get the seal (or paw!) of approval.

Explore the local beaches, woodland trails and open countryside - beautiful in any season - and visit Cornwall's famous all-weather attractions, some of which are right on our doorstep so there's no need to drive too far with the kids!. You simply can't come to Cornwall without visiting the beach, and we've several on our doorstep. Kids of all ages will love the freedom of running around on the sand, exploring rock pools, building sandcastles, and paddling in the sea - it's the perfect natural playground.

From rugged cliffs and outcrops on the north coast, to the calmer sailing waters on the south coast, we're lucky to have so much choice. Our personal favourites locally include Porthpean, Caerhays, Gorran Haven and Pentewan beaches. Some of the most beautiful bays in Cornwall are just a short drive away. Right on our doorstep we have Porthpean and Pentewan. And if you fancy exploring slightly further afield, there are many beautiful beaches within easy reach of Tregongeeves, including Perranporth and the golden beaches of Newquay on the North Coast.

From St Austell Bay to St Ives, or from Fowey to Flushing, no two places are the same. This World Heritage Site can be described as nothing less than breathtaking. Its thickly wooded terrain surrounds the River Par, and plays home to some quite extraordinary early 19th Century industrial remains which are completely unique to the West Country.
