Shrewley Pools is a working family farm that offers high-quality accommodation for those who long for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The house dates from 1640 and is largely original with exposed beams, beautiful quarry tiled or oak floors and leaded windows. All rooms have views over the garden, lake and surrounding fields. There are fireplaces in the hall, dining and sitting rooms.
The large, attractive sitting room has comfortable sofas and armchairs pulled around the roaring fire. Play games, do jigsaws, or read a book with a glass of wine to relax at the end of the day! The dining room is glorious with clotted cream walls and thick raspberry curtains. An early oak dresser and corner cupboard contain crystal glasses and china whilst a fire burns in the hearth.
Come and sit in the hall, the oldest room in the house and admire the wonderful oak beams and polished quarry tiled floors with Persian rugs. Outside why not relax and enjoy watching the ducks and geese fly into the large lake stocked with carp, tench, silvery bream and roach.

We offer two letting rooms, the Family Room has both king size and single beds which sleeps 5 in comfort with a baby in the cot.
It has its own lovely en-suite bathroom with high-quality towels and toiletries.
Along the polished oak passageway, you will find the twin room.
This lovely room has 2 single beds, a tiny dressing room where a child can sleep on a single bed.
Our Family Room has a king size bed and sleeps FOUR in comfort, plus a baby in a cot, if required.
Our Twin Room has two single beds and sleeps TWO in comfort.

We stayed for two nights on a bank holiday weekend with our one year old son.
We stayed in the beautifully light family room with its gorgeous beds, comfortable chairs, plenty of storage, tea/coffee facilities and a lovely bathroom (note, bath not shower, but this was actually a plus for us, as it makes one completely relax and make time for a bath!)
