Meikleour Arms is a unique boutique hotel and pub in Perthshire, at the heart of the conservation village of Meikleour, internationally renowned for its spectacular trees and great salmon fishing while only a short distance away from Perth, Scone Palace and Dunkeld.

Built in 1820, it is owned and run by Meikleour Estate, one of the oldest historical estates in East Scotland. The 11 spacious bedrooms and 5 stylish hotel cottages are ideal whether you are looking for a relaxing family holiday, an escape to the country or a sporting trip. The award-winning restaurant is proud of its Franco-Scottish heritage and serves superb country food incorporating produce from the estate and the neighbouring lands.

The Meikleour Arms can offer salmon fishing on their own stunning stretch of the river Tay as well as golf packages with the Blairgowrie Golf Club.

The Mercers of Perth, merchants of early medieval French origin, acquired the barony Meikleour in 1162.
Our 11 bedroom exude comfort and elegant simplicity: superb mattresses, lovely crisp linen and beautiful marble bathrooms.
Of course they also have flat-csreen TVs, luxurious hypoallergenic bedding, Arran Aromatics toiletries, stylish tea & coffee facilities and the unmistakable sherry decanter.
All our bedrooms were individually decorated by us, pairing old treasure and new find, so that you feel part of the estate throughout your stay.
And all prices include a hearty breakfast of your choice.

We serve food all day but reservation mandatory.
Maximum table of 10, 4 households.
As we are operating with half of our tables (to allow aeound 2m between tables) we have sitting times in the evening with 2 hour slot: 6pm, 6:15pm, 6:30pm, 8pm, 8:15pm, 8:30pm.

The restaurant at the Meikleour Arms is a bit of a local institution.
The Meikleour Arms, once known as the Meikleour Hotel Fishing Lodge, has been caring for anglers in some way or another for nearly 200 years.
We are conveniently close to the lower and Middle Tay beats and it is on our estate that the river Isla joins the Tay on what is recognised as being some of the finest Spring salmon fishing in the UK, Islamouth.
We own and run our very own salmon fishing on Meikleour, offering superlative fishing experience to all anglers and aspiring ones, with top of teh range equipment provided free of charge.

Meikleour Arms is just 30 miles from Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie as well as being on the door step of the highly regarded Blairgowrie Golf Course.
Indeed the main course was named after our owner's grandfather, Lord Lansdowne.
It offers 3 fantastic courses, and is only 5 miles from the hotel.
The Rosemount Championship Course was voted 11th best course to play in Scotland.
