The Boat House Bed & Breakfast
The Boat House is a very special place. Large, handsome rooms, some with romantic castle views. Sumptuous beds and linens, plenty of space: each room has comfortable chairs or a settee so you can really relax. This b&b is a haven in a timeless place that's always attracted artists, poets and adventurers. Park your car, check in and forget it, there's just a short walk to a selection of restaurants, bars, amenities and attractions.

Our adults-only policy makes staying at The Boat House B and B a stress-free experience where you're in for a treat. Choose from a light continental breakfast (included in the cost of your stay) or cooked food available at an extra 5 per person if preferred, it's locally sourced and top quality. Of course, location matters and with its fascinating history and stunning scenery, the ancient township of Laugharne is hard to beat.

You could take a stroll around the Tf estuary to Dylan Thomas' Boat House, climb the castle and soak up the view, or join the locals for a drink and a tale in any of the pubs on our doorstep.

Be prepared for your pace of life to slow right down as you enter what locals affectionately refer to as 'Laugharne time'.
A truly mesmerising town, with a unique spirit and wonderful scenery, Laugharne is one of the last remaining towns to have a Corporation with elected 'Portreeve' responsible for the welfare of the township and its residents.
Laugharne's sense of community and pride is infectious.
It is certainly somewhere to take your time over.
The poet Dylan Thomas was Laugharne's most famous resident, living in a number of houses here before settling in The Boat House that nestles on stilts on the estuary.
