Flambards Hotel & Tearooms
Our location is well situated for our Hotel Guests: use us as a comfortable base in order to visit the many and varied attractions of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. Why not stay for a while in our pleasant and comfortable rooms, then perhaps, take a leisurely stroll by the River Teifi. You can make a visit to nearby Cilgerran Castle and village or take the dog for a run on the long sandy beach called Poppit Sands, on the Estuary at Cardigan.

We are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Welsh rolling hills with many walking and cycling trails nearby.
Services
After spending more than a century & a half as a public house called The Carpenters Arms, it was refurbished in 2015 & re-named Flambards Hotel.
Originally from Solihull in the West Midlands, we moved to the Isle of Wight in 1996.
We spent the next 17 years running a public house in the centre of Freshwater in the West Wight.
Following that we had a beachside caf at Colwell Bay before deciding on a new challenge here in West Wales.
Our hotel is perfectly situated to explore Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion.
The location of our hotel makes it an ideal place to base yourselves for a relaxing visit to West Wales.
We are situated on the border of Ceredigion, Camarthenshire & Pembrokeshire, with St Davids to the south just over an hour away & Aberystwyth to the north around hour.
There are of course many & varied beautiful places in between just a short drive away.
There is an 18 space safe & secure car park available to all guests free of charge, with several bays close to the entrance, for our less mobile guests.
We are family run, so the desk is not always manned.
If you arrive & nobody appears to be there, just press the bell & someone will be right with you.
Shortly after your welcome, you will be given a breakfast choice sheet which we ask you to pre-order the night before.
This enables us to manage social distancing between guests during the busy breakfast sessions.
Guests are able to check out at any time during the morning up until 10am, which is the latest check out time.
During these difficult times our table capacity has had to be reduced.
For this reason breakfast is pre-ordered the night before & there are two sittings, either 7.45am or 8.45am.
As self service is not an option at ther moment, all choices are delivered directly to your table, so that social distancing can take place.
All breakfasts are included in the price of your stay, making your stay with us great value for money.
We are a dog friendly hotel but there are certain rules regarding where they can go.
Your pets are allowed in all public areas of the hotel, with the exception of the restaurant/dining room.
Whilst in the public areas owners must remember that not all of our guests may be dog lovers.
To this end we ask that your dog is not allowed on any furniture.
Also when in your room, please do not allow dogs on any furniture or beds.
In total, 4 of our rooms are dog friendly with a maximum of 2 dogs per room.
