Fishmore Hall
Inside this beautifully-restored Georgian house, 15 luxurious contemporary bedrooms and luscious designer bathrooms - the perfect place for a long lazy weekend break (in a dog friendly hotel!) or mid-week stay to discover this fascinating county, for a Shropshire wedding or family celebration, or for a relaxing Spa retreat. We have excellent facilities for disabled guests with a bespoke ground floor room and easy access for wheelchairs.

At the heart of this hotel though is our restaurant, Forelles. Here you will discover the best of Shropshire dining with the innovative cooking of our bright young head chef, Phil Kerry, and his team, using ingredients sourced from local producers in the Shropshire Marches. With bar meals also available Phil is sure to have something on the menu for everyone.

And now, nestled in our garden our new Spa facility. Comprising four treatment rooms, which combine to create two couples rooms, a steam room and sauna, as well as an outdoor Cedar wellness Hot Tub and oversized hammock on the decking, both overlooking the fields and the Shropshire hills.
Services
Luxurious rooms, indulgent bathrooms, and a menu that makes the very best of this very foodie part of the UK.
The views alone made it worth it, with countryside stretching out from every window, and the towers of Ludlow Castle peeping up from behind the trees.
This was what we had been looking for - somewhere to create the type of hotel we would want to stay in, with luxurious rooms, indulgent bathrooms, and a menu that makes the very best of this very foodie part of the UK.
It took 22 weeks of banging, hammering and head scratching to create what Fishmore is today and we are thrilled with the result.
The bizarre nature of the first half of 2020 has given us time to look at all aspects of what we do in more detail than ever before.
The food going forward will be lighter, fresher and more intrinsically tied the seasons.
Menus will be slightly smaller but change more frequently to ensure we use produce at its best and to ensure that the kitchen team can consistently deliver food we are proud of.''.
Fishmore Hall, in Ludlow, Shropshire, is delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Kerry as Head Chef.
Head Chef Phil Kerry and his team aim to source the majority of their ingredients from within a 30-mile radius of the hotel.
However, being landlocked in Ludlow, our seafood and fish come from the Isle of Skye and Brixham.
Alongside our a la Carte Menu and Tasting Menu we offer a local market lunch menu Wednesday to Saturday.
Traditional Sunday Roast menu is available on Sundays.
Afternoon tea is one of the very greatest of British traditions.
Fishmore Hall have a unique and extensive tea list and continually evolving offering of indulgent treats.
Afternoon tea was introduced in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, in the year 1840.
The Duchess would become hungry around four o'clock in the afternoon.
The evening meal in her household was served fashionably late at eight o'clock, thus leaving a long period of time between lunch and dinner.
The Duchess asked that a tray of tea, bread and butter (sometime earlier, the Earl of Sandwich had had the idea of putting a filling between two slices of bread) and cake be brought to her room during the late afternoon.
As well as the main dining room, Fishmore Hall can also provide fully private or semi private dining areas for special occasions seven days of the week.
We can put together a full baby naming party, including official celebrant if required, to welcome your new arrival to the world.
Fishmore Hall can cater for large and smaller parties and can help to arrange all of the details from catering to the cake.
Arranging a surprise for someone special - no problem, we can work with you to make sure that you can keep the guest of honour busy while we greet your guests and set up the room for you.
