Eco-Friendly Holiday Cottages in Mid Wales
Cwm Irfon Lodge Cottages has provided eco-conscious holiday accommodation in Mid Wales for over a decade. Owned and operated by Karin and Gyles, our business combines sustainable living with immersive natural experiences. Our four self-catering cottages, nestled within three acres of woodland adjacent to a Victorian Hunting Lodge, offer guests varying capacities from romantic retreats to family-friendly spaces accommodating up to 15 people. Powered entirely by hydro energy, our properties feature modern amenities while maintaining environmental responsibility. Strategically located between the Cambrian Mountains and Brecon Beacons, we serve as an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts seeking mountain biking, wild swimming, birdwatching, and more.

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond energy use to include locally sourced materials and eco-friendly operations. With extensive international experience in development work and hospitality, we curate stays that balance comfort with ecological awareness. Guests consistently praise our tranquil setting, comfortable furnishings, and the unique opportunity to engage with Welsh rural life. Our property's adjacency to ancient woodlands and the River Irfon creates unparalleled access to nature while maintaining proximity to cultural attractions.
