The St. Leonards is an ideal base from which to experience an unforgettable holiday exploring our beautiful Isle of Wight. Over half of the Island is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A haven for Walkers, Cyclists, and the discerning holiday maker, the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful Island combine to make it the ideal place to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of modern day living.

There are also over fifty visitor attractions, over 500 miles of beautiful walks, safe sandy beaches and cycle trails. You will always find plenty to occupy your day.

All of our 7 bedrooms are en-suite and are fully equipped for your stay.
Free WiFi Internet access is available throughout the building.
If you are bringing your own bicycles secure parking is available.
If not, a local cycle hire company will deliver and collect bicycles should you wish to hire.
There is a car hire company close by if you require a more leisurely method of seeing the Isle of Wight.
Breakfast is served from 8.30 to 9.45 a.m.
Our comfortable and well stocked bar offers a selection of reasonably priced beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks.
The Isle of Wight is less than a two hour drive from London, lying just off the centre of the South Coast of England, and is a small diamond shaped island.
Only thirteen miles north to south and twenty three miles east to west, the Isle of Wight, sometimes known as the Garden Isle can be reached via car ferry, passenger ferry or hovercraft.
Within its boundaries, the Isle of Wight contains a wide variety of landscapes from sheltered river valleys and long golden sandy beaches to wild, wind swept headlands and forests.
Please note, that when you make a reservation you are entering into a contract, in fact you are legally obliged to pay a percentage of your holiday costs in the unhappy event that you are forced to cancel your holiday.
We therefore strongly recommend that you arrange cancellation insurance.
In the event that you do have to cancel your reservation then, the following scale of charges will apply.
The date of cancellation will be taken, as the date written confirmation of cancellation is received by The St. Leonards.
This statement is designed to give a description of the access to the various areas inside and outside of The St. Leonards that are used by our Guests.
The property was built as a private house in 1870 and converted to a Guest House in 1930s.
The accommodation is set over three floors, the Entrance Lobby / Dry Lounge, the Dining Room and Lounge Bar are on the Ground Floor, Guest Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are on the First Floor and Guest Rooms 4, 5, 6, and 7 are on the second floor.
There are 2 flights of 7 steps with intermediate landings between each floor.
