Butterfly Guest House is a privately owned bed and breakfast that has been operating since 1991. It was established by Mother and Son, Irene and Peter Slaven as a follow on from Irene's "Cartref" (Welsh for "Welcome") Guest House which operated out of Beaumaris in Anglesey, Wales through the 1980s and 1990s. We are located in South Manchester on the Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall border, close to nearby areas of Stockport, Didsbury, Manchester and Wilmslow.

We are 10 minutes by car from Manchester International Airport and 5 minutes from the M56/M60 motorways. We offer comfortable and relaxing accommodation at good rates in a prime location with excellent transport links. We have ample car parking spaces and we are of a very friendly disposition. Bramhall Hall is a Tudor manor house in Bramhall.
This beautiful building has parts of it dating back to the 14th century.
Fortunately, after hundreds of years in ownership of the Davenport family, when a local industrialist Charles Nevil moved in in the late 19th century he preserved and restored the house superbly.
The rooms are very well presented, particularly the chapel, with helpful, knowledgeable guides on hand, There's a good shop inside and a caf just outside in the old stables.
The park with ponds, walks and play equipment for the kids mean that the whole hall and grounds are well worth a visit.
