Services
The Cottage Tea Room serves delicious homemade cakes and snacks, traditional cream tea and daily specials.
We provide a variety of freshly made sandwiches and drinks.
Janet lives locally and grew up in Withnell and Brinscall, therefore has a good knowledge of the area.
Apart from the obvious welcoming drinks and delicious food available, we have a variety of items for sale, including cards and gifts.
We also sell books by local authors, including the Trogglyboggs by Alec Price, Anne Droyd stories by Will Hadcroft together with Whippet Ways (a book of local walks in aid of St. Catherine's Hospice).
Afternoon Tea is a quintessentially English tradition and is upheld in its finest form here at The Cottage Tea Room in the heart of a quaint English village.
It is a treat in more ways than one - a delicious array of delicate finger sandwiches is accompanied by freshly baked scones served with whipped cream and strawberry preserve as well as melt in the mouth empire biscuits, crisps and our signature lemon cake.
Sit, relax and chat with a cup of tea from our varied selection, enjoying your day in fine, friendly surroundings.
There is a footpath from White Coppice to Brinscall, which has encouraged many new people, young and old to visit the village and the Tea Room serves as a meeting place and a focal point for the visitors and the community.
