A warm welcome to Fairwinds - a charming, owner run small hotel near Aviemore in the Highlands of Scotland offering a very personal and homely guest experience. Where a wonderful atmosphere of easy friendliness and soothing relaxation will strike you as you enter. Fairwinds Hotel and Chalets are situated in Carrbridge in the heart of Cairngorm National Park.

Guests enjoy the choice of accommodation in our superbly appointed small hotel or in our fully equipped, purpose-built timber chalets, both professionally and personally run by resident owners Jeanette & Peter. Our Carrbridge hotel offers accommodation options to suit every requirement from couples seeking a quiet break to larger groups seeking a base from which to explore the Cairngorm National Park and beyond.

With only 5 letting bedrooms accommodating a maximum of 10 people, we are able to ensure that every guest receives the highest level of personal attention. A lounge area with honesty bar and a large conservatory with our restaurant and a sitting area offer communal areas in which to relax and enjoy the company of other guests.
Services
The hotel is situated on seven acres of private grounds within the beautiful Highland village of Carrbridge at the north end of the Cairngorms National Park.
Accessible by road and rail, we are just six miles north of Aviemore and just 23 miles south of Inverness off the A9 trunk road.
Our central location ideally places us in reach of the many attractions in the immediate area including birdwatching, golf, walking, fishing, watersports and mountain biking and we are ideally situated for the Cairngorm and Lecht ski areas.
Our five guest rooms are all different, and are individually and tastefully decorated.
All are equipped with flat-screen TV, hairdryer, radio alarm clock with ipod dock and a tea/coffee making tray with complimentary home baking.
All our rooms have en-suite facilities.
Arran Aromatic toiletries and top quality towels and linens are amongst the touches that we have added to ensure that your stay is a memorable one.
All our bedrooms are non-smoking zones.
Osprey, Cairngorm and Strathspey are our most spacious rooms.
For Breakfast: From the Buffet Table, choose from cereals, fresh and dried fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices.
Our renowned 'cooked' menu offers Full Scottish Breakfast (with vegetarian option), kippers, porridge, and kedgeree amongst the choices, all accompanied by a pot of tea (different teas available) or a cafetiere of coffee.
A 'continental' breakfast is also possible (please let us know in advance) with croissants, baguettes, cold meats and cheese as well as the standard cafetiere of coffee or pot of tea.
We are superbly centrally placed for exploring the scenic beauties and the great outdoors of Cairngorm National Park and beyond.
Our central position opens up a host of things to do and see, and makes our whole destination a 'must visit' to appreciate much of the very best of the Highlands of Scotland.

We can work with local activity providers to 'bolt on' your choice, or choices - from an almost endless variety of wonderful local outdoor activities, from relaxing to challenging - on foot, on horseback, on wheels and on water.

It is a mecca for outdoors people with all sorts of sporting activities on offer, on the mountain, down in the valley, on the golf course or on your bike, there is something for everyone.
