The Downs Hotel is a family run pub and bed & breakfast situated in the heart of Woodingdean - a busy village with stunning views overlooking the picturesque South Downs countryside, and just 2.5 miles from Brighton. We have a traditional bar popular with locals and visitors alike, a separate 60 seated restaurant and accommodation. In the warmer summer months our lovely beer garden is ideal for al fresco drinking and dining. We are ideally located as a base to explore the South Downs Way walks or when visiting the many local attractions including Brighton Racecourse, Royal Pavillion, Brighton Sealife Centre, Brighton Marina, The Amex Stadium, University of Sussex, Nuffield Hospital and the historic village of Rottingdean.

Ample free car parking is available on site for our customers and guests and there is a regular bus service (numbers 2 and 22) every 15 minutes from just outside the hotel to Brighton town centre.
