The Coachman Inn
Built in 1776, the new owners, Wayne Lerigo and Erkan Balon, offer great hospitality and service in this Grade II listed Georgian coaching inn - offering a fine dining restaurant, bars and superb guest room accommodation. The inn is located in the village of Snainton, on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors between Pickering and Scarborough.

A picturesque and peaceful retreat we are sure you will enjoy. Enjoy a bed & breakfast stay with us in one of our five immaculately presented boutique style guest rooms. All are individually decorated and furnished for your comfort with garden views from the windows. After a hearty breakfast served in the Snug, then a busy day out and about in North Yorkshire, we are sure you'll have a great nights sleep here at The Coachman Inn.

Why not celebrate your special occasion with us at The Coachman Inn? We have a large function room with a separate bar which is an ideal indoor area for dining & entertaining your guests. This can transform in the evening to host a disco with dance floor.
Services
All our ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible.
Our meats are supplied by two renowned local butchers - 'Glaves' of Brompton and 'The Horny Cow' of Wilton and our fresh seafood is supplied by Dennis Crooks of Whitby.
Our restaurant boasts 2 Rosette Awards for quality of produce and presentation.
All dishes are lovingly prepared by Head Chef David Spencer, along with our Traditional Turkish Chef, Veysi Balon.

We truly feel blessed to be in such a lovely location here on the edge of the North York Moors - some of the most stunning and dramatic landsape England has to offer.
Whilst perhaps most famous for its tourist attractions, like the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Medieval Castle, Beck Isle Museum and the stunning Saxon Church with its world-famous 15th century wall paintings, Pickering has much, much more to offer.
A thriving town with a vibrant, active local community, the town's historic market place is packed with excellent independent retail businesses offering everything from bikes and outdoor gear, local produce and crafts, and antiques and gifts.
The function room opens to a beautiful large garden laid out to lawn with various trees and shrubs, making it an excellent backdrop for memorable photographs.
We have several Wedding Packages available for up 70 guests in the afternoon for 3 course dining and up to 100 guests in the evening to enjoy a buffet and disco.
