Set in award winning Gardens The Claymore is conveniently situated on Pitlochry's main street. We have private parking and uninterrupted views of the Cluniemore Hills. Free wireless internet access is available throughout the Claymore Guest House. The Claymore is only a two minute walk from the town centre and the rail and bus stations. Personally run by Diane, Graeme and family, we are here to make your Pitlochry holiday as enjoyable as possible.

We offer our customers a range of quality accommodation to suit all needs, including ground floor rooms and pet friendly rooms. We do not serve evening meals but you are welcome to eat you own food in your room, at the moment the conservatory is not in use in the evenings. There are many eating places in Pitlochry only a few minutes walk away. Pitlochry is an ideal place to stay for touring the Scottish Highlands, or simply relax and enjoy the local surroundings and tourist attractions.

We know that some people cannot manage to enjoy themselves on holiday with out their pets - which is why we welcome pets at Claymore.
The Pitlochry area is a great place for walks, there are so many wonderful walking routes round and about for mans best friends to enjoy, or even a dip in the loch!
I have a list at reception of the many dog friendly eating/drinking places within easy walking distance.
If you wish to leave your dog in the bedroom please make sure that he/she is used to being alone in strange surroundings to avoid disturbing other guests by barking.
Pitlochry is an ideal place to stay for touring Scotland with less than 2 hours drive from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness.
Known as "Scotland's Theatre in the Hills", the Pitlochry Festival Theatre shows a large variety of plays from comedy to tragedy and musicals.
The Theatre also holds art & craft demonstrations, creative workshops, backstage tours and a winter season programme.
Pitlochry has a wonderful 18 hole golf course, situated in the hills above the town and with great views of the Tummel Valley.
