What's more, we're right at the heart of both The Lake District National Park and The Lake District World Heritage Site. Brantholme has benefited from substantial refurbishment work over the last few years and we continue to invest in the B&B to ensure each stay is memorable for all the right reasons.

read more › Our newly installed hot tub has been positioned to give you unspoiled views of the Lake District, taking in the remarkable landscape of the fells along with the countryside. So after having a great day in the Lakes, the is no better to relax by slipping into warm bubbling waters and unwinding with a cold glass of wine. A maximum of 6 people will be allowed to use the hot tub per day. Please bring appropriate bathing wear. Towels, Robes, and disposable slippers are provided. A disclaimer form and health and safety will be provided on check-in.

read more › There are lots of places to eat all within a few minutes walking distance of Brantholme, and it doesn't have to be fine dining every night. There's plenty of choice from gourmet restaurants to fish and chips, bar snacks and takeaways. Chinese, Indian, Italian and Thai are available to tickle your palette and suit your pocket. The YHA and Chesters by the River are a walk away but worth it! Zefferellis, Dodd's, Sheilas Cottage, The Fulling Mill Bar & Bistro, Matthew's Bistro, Tarantella's, The Priest Hole, The Old Stamp House, Jintana (Thai), Doi Intanon (also Thai), Spice of Bengal, Lake Road Kitchen to name a few.

read more › Brockhole Visitor Centre - right by Lake Windermere, adventure playground, garden trails, shop, cafe, the Gaddum Restaurant, Tree Top Trek, kayak/canoe hire, archery, pony rides. Low Sizergh Barn, Farm Shop & Farm Trail - award winning National Trust farm, selling delicious local produce, crafts and art. Raw Milk, home-made cakes, pastries and a cheese counter to rival all others in the shop. Tea-room, watch the cows being milked at 3.30pm. This family run farm rescues alpacas and llamas, and you can visit, walk with them and experience their relaxing personalities.
