Sleeping up to 15, it is perfect for your group or family gathering. It has 7 en suite bedrooms, a large lounge, additional sitting room, and a dining room able to seat your whole party. Bedrooms offer flexible accommodation including doubles, twins and one 'family' suite.
The house has 3 levels and the top floor has lovely sea views. It is ideal for family gatherings, reunions, significant birthday celebrations, corporate groups, girls weekends, walking groups and golfing parties. We are following all current recomendations regarding cleaning and have completed the Visit Scotland 'Good to Go' certification. There is something for everyone in Crail, with it's pretty harbour, galleries, tea rooms, golf courses, beaches and Fife Coastal path.

The house dates from 1890 and the kitchen and dining room were once the local bakers shop with the ovens under the back lane.
It was then a guest house for many years before being offered as a large self catering property from 2013.
Some logs, coal, kindling, though you made need to buy more as we don't have huge storage space.

The harbour must be one of the most painted and photographed in Scotland and is still a working harbour with crab and lobster landed.
You can buy both at 'The Shack' in season.
Caiplie House is just a few minutes walk from the harbour and is situated in the middle of Crail's High street.
The High street is a rare traditional village high street with a butchers, bakers and green grocers.
It also has a number of cafes, a book shop and the Crail Gallery.
Elsewhere in Crail you will find Crail Pottery, Crail Harbour Gallery and many pretty streets.
