Clan Campbell Cottages
After 20 years of running a successful small hotel in Edinburgh and with the arrival of our first daughter in 2011, it was time for a new adventure. Happening upon Boat of Cluny we felt that we could offer an unforgettable holiday experience. With so many years experience of looking after our guests our aim is to offer you a unique holiday and fabulous memories.

Right by the river Tay in the beautiful Perthshire area, sits our stunning self catering cottage "The Ferry". The cottage is a popular destination for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway. Our 2 bedrooms, each with their own super comfy king size sleigh bed, accommodates a maximum of 4 people and 1 infant, for those who want to bring friends.

We are situated in the heart of the big tree country, which is the home of the red squirrel. There are numerous walks and outdoor pursuits as well as quiet enclaves to enjoy the peaceful tranquillity. You can book comfortably online (orange box) or if you have any further questions, don't hesitate and get in touch with us via our contact form.
Services
Features: Solid oak flooring, double glazing, central heating, log burning stove and open fireplace are some of many features throughout the holiday cottage.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances including fridge, dishwasher, large capacity double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dualit toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, digital radio and a steam generator iron and board.
All conceivable utensils which would be required on holiday are also included.
We also provide tea, coffee, spices, cooking oil, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, cling film & baking foil.
Fishing Hut: By the fishing beat there is a fishing hut for our guests to use.
Inside you will find fishing rods, tackle and bait, a gas outdoor cooker, barbecue and complementary tea and coffee.
Trout & Grayling: With half a mile of fishing beat there are numerous idyllic fishing spots.
A great way to relax and unwind from a busy life, watching the river go by.
The Tay's fame as a salmon river has meant that it has often been ignored for its other types of fishing.
This is quite wrong, as its brown trout fishing is excellent and even its sea trout fishing is too often underestimated.
Junction Pitnacree: If you come from Perth, via Dunkeld and Logierait you don't have to go all the way to Aberfeldy, just use this shortcut instead.
Approx 4 miles after you have passed the village Logierait you come to this junction.
Turn right towards Pitnacree / Strathtay / Weem.
Junction Weem: Follow this road for 1 mile until you come to this junction.
Turn off to the right hand side (yellow arrow).
There is also a sign towards Weem, but sometimes hidden by the trees.
A better landmark is the house which is in the middle of the junction and the golf course to the right.
Check in is between 3pm and 8pm.
If you arrive earlier you can park your car and leave the luggage and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
Check out is by 11am.
Please note: we start cleaning the hot tub and sauna from 9:30am in order to have everything ready for the next arrivals.
Yes, Wi-Fi is free of charge.
Please bare in mind that we are in the country side and the internet might not be as fast as you have it at home.
It is still fast enough for browsing, emails and using social media.
Well behaved dogs are allowed and free of charge.
