The Green Park Hotel
We are delighted to welcome the newest recruit to our team at the Green Park Hotel - 'Nevis' the Highland Stag. Whilst stags are often depicated as solitary brooding figures, our Nevis bucks this image. He is a big show-off, and can be seen in all his regal spendour as you first enter the grounds. The Green Park is a well established and popular family run hotel, to be found on the western outskirts of Pitlochry, a small town which lies within the southern edge of Highland Perthshire.

Over the years the Green Park has become one of Pitlochry's best known landmarks, enjoying unrivalled views over Loch Faskally from its lochside position. Set in three acres at the 'Inverness' end of the town, the hotel is within strolling distance of the shops and a pleasant walk from the Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Our 'theatre in the hills'.

The hotel is spacious and full of light. The public rooms are well appointed and restful, while the bedrooms are neat and attractive.
Services
In Highland Perthshire, while we cannot match the poet's Vision of a Dream, we continue to do our very best with the three acres of garden which surround the Green Park Hotel, and lead down to the banks of Loch Faskally.
The gardens consistently give rise to favourable comment from guests, as conscientious effort is made to keep these colourful and well maintained.
The gardens are not intended as show pieces but rather compliment the other features of the property and its situation.
The old trees and their shape are particularly attractive and soothing.
The greening of the Green Park Hotel started long before I became involved.
As part of business as usual, LED light bulbs replaced normal light bulbs that had served their time, the Tower Wing had double glazed windows from its beginning, while other windows were gradually being updated with double glazing; glass was placed into separated bins and recycled; the kitchen was regularly using local produce where possible, and complimentary travel to and from the train and bus stations was par for the course.
Even the weather was relatively kind to us, the one dull day at least being dry!
You even managed a nice surprise by drumming up my birthday from your computer records and recognising it with your usual compliments.
Just a little note to thank Alistair and family for a lovely visit this year again!
I would also like to thank Donna for her calm and helpful assistance when I needed medical attention and the A.A. at the same time!
Bob was as exciting and inspiring as ever.
The food was excellent, as expected, as with the service.
With a steadily increasing demand for car charging options in Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire, here at the hotel we have introduced two car-parking spaces where priority is given to electric vehicle charging for our guests.
These charging units are compatible with all current electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
These charging units cannot be reserved in advance and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
To help you in your choice of wine, you will find a number or a letter against each wine which will indicate the style of wine you are choosing.
Green Park Hotel's Wine List Tasting GuideIf it is a white wine, then a number will give an indication of how dry that wine is.
For instance number 1 would tell you that the wine is very dry, number 2 would still be dry but not as dry as number 1, and so on.
This follows right up to number 9, which would describe a very, very, sweet white wine.
Where it becomes complicated is that most white wines are numbered between 1 and 3, and rarely go above 4!
