We are a quality Bed & Breakfast situated on West Cliff, ideally positioned for the Blue Flag beach, the Pavilion, harbour and many more Whitby attractions. Your hosts Martyn & Paula are from hospitality backgrounds, so you are assured of a very warm welcome. Ellies Guest House is a smart Victorian building which we have decorated and updated during the last year.
We have sanded the entrance hall floor, had new carpets laid in the dining room and stairways, and made a seating area in each room to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. We have the advantage of having allocated parking spaces in West Cliff School (directly behind us) during weekends and school holidays, for a minimal cost. We have 6 letting bedrooms which are all en-suite, appointed to a high standard with flat screen tv's, well equipped hospitality trays (with fresh milk), and seating areas.
We have now completed our risk assessment and have successfully acquired the Industry Standard 'Good To GO' accreditation.

At the new Park & Ride roundabout take the first exit with the garden centre to your right.
Drive along Castle Road passing Sneaton Castle.
Go past Lidl and along Stakesby Road and Spring Vale to a Roundabout.
Take the first exit then first right immediately after Harrisons filling station onto Crescent Avenue.
Follow the road round to the left.
