On arrival probably the first thing you will notice is the long drive in and the magnificent hedges on either side. Next, may notice the exceptional numbers of birds which fly out of them. Welcome - you've arrived at Williamwood, where farming and nature go hand-in-hand and provide a wonderfully expansive setting for your stay.

We work hard to keep our holiday cottages to a high standard and to foster an environment which allows you to relax in comfort; and to explore the wonders of nature, if you wish, with or without your camera.Most of our visitors take away lots of photographs as well as happy memories. We hope you will too.

Less than 5 minutes from the M6/M74, 10 minutes from Gretna Green, 20 minutes from Carlisle, with Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish Borders, golfing, fishing, walking, bird watching and mountain biking all catered for within 45 minutes.Williamwood is an ideal location from which to explore some of the most stunning countryside Scotland has to offer, with the benefit of being close to some of the greatest cities, like Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Beckhead Cottage offers the ultimate country living experience.
Set in a delightful location in the diverse region that is Dumfries and Galloway surrounded by trees, enclosing two lovely secluded gardens.
From here you can watch the many farmland birds and enjoy nature at its best.
Bubbling by is the Beckhead "burn", were there may be the chance to see the occasional otter.
Sitting in the garden, all you will hear is birdsong, farm animals, the the bubbling burn.
Inside, the traditional farm cottage has been transformed into a stylish, country themed living space with a unique character.
Grey Craig Cottage is set on the edge of Williamwood Farm, from where it looks over to the loch, as well as the conservation and wildlife area.
A popular get away for couples, the cottage offers comfort and "country style".

A patio is just though the floor to ceiling glass doors leading to a hot tub and secluded garden.
The sitting room features floor to ceiling patio doors, which allow you to observe the daily routines of farm life and wildlife in their natural habitat.
Our signature cottage for famillies, Williamwood Cottage has been completely renovated and decorated in a style you would expect to find in a country cottage.
Conventional yet modern but most of all comfortable.
The cosy sitting room is the heart of this enchanting holiday cottage, it features a delightful wood burning stove with ample firewood to keep you warm on the coldest of evenings here in the countryside.
Central heating keeps the rest of the home warm.
Williamwood Cottage's kitchen is fitted with high quality appliances extra fringe and freezer and modern conveniences, such as a microwave and dishwasher, bringing the best of modern living to the characteristically country home.
We just had a long weekend at the farm and absolutely LOVED it!
Our cottage was amazing and felt like a home away from home.
The farm is absolutely gorgeous but what really made the weekend were the owners (and the fact it was calving season ).
Shirley and Michael were so very welcoming and sweet.
My daughter got to feed a highland calf and she loved it.
They were so open and welcoming that we now feel would couldn't possibly stay anywhere else.
The children's play area was great and super safe and the petting zoo was just so much fun.
