The Apple Store is tucked away at the bottom of the garden and is completely secluded. All guests come into the main house, just a short walk from the rooms, for our scrumptious breakfasts. Set privately and alone at the top of the valley, you can enjoy beautiful views over the haven and towards Dale. A short walk through the wooded valley takes you to the Pembrokeshire coast foot path and the secluded cove of Monk Haven. Our hut is fully equipped with all utensils, glassware and crockery. Additional comforts include Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy towels, towelling robes, slippers and toiletries.

However there may be occasions when you notice on our website an odd single night available during this period. If so, please call 07399 492603 to enquire about a single night stay. Single person stay rates are offered in the standard rooms only (Teilo/Ysfael). Our standard bedrooms are comfortable with great facilities, however, they are our smaller rooms and recommended for shorter breaks which would require less luggage.

It is the only coastal national park in the United Kingdom to have been designated primarily because of its spectacular coastline. It is one of three National Parks in Wales, the others being the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) and Snowdonia (Eryri). The National Park has a varied landscape of rugged cliffs and varied geology, breathtaking sandy beaches and secluded coves, with wooded estuaries and wild, vast inland hills. The geology of the area is of particular interest with natural arches, stacks, rock folding and sea caves.

It couldn't be easier to visit Skomer Island whilst staying with us at Monk Haven Manor B&B. If you are on a walking holiday, and without a vehicle, then we will drop you off and pick you up from the embarkation point. We can provide a delicious packed lunch for you too! Visitors to Skomer invariably come for the wildlife and the abundance and variety of seabirds. The main season for Puffins is from May to the end of July.

During the winter months it is also advisable to call ahead regarding opening times as these are likely to vary during the 'out of season' periods. A reliable local taxi service, Jones Coastal Taxi, can be reached on 07984 696404 or 07470 407745. This is an award winning seafront pub overlooking the haven and is renowned for its fresh fish menu. A must try venue for seafood enthusiasts but they also offer good homemade traditional pub fare.

Martins Haven for Skomer Island is only a 10 minutes drive too. Little Haven and Broad Haven are only 10/15 minutes away by car. Pembrokeshire has so many wonderful places to discover and explore. We also offer delicious packed lunches and during the Summer months an evening picnic selection to enjoy on your patio. read more › This year due to social distancing and letting out our rooms as self contained units, we can only offer a CONTINTENTAL BREAKFAST to all of our guests. This will be taken to your room on a tray each morning at 8:30am and collected at 10:00am. They will be placed on the outside patio tables ready for you to eat at your leisure. read more › Well behaved dogs are more than welcome to come with you during your stay with us at Monk Haven Manor. This is, however, subject to availability in the allocated rooms. We can accommodate your dog in the APPLE STORE and GOFAN rooms only. They must not interfere with farm stock or the enjoyment of other visitors staying at Monk Haven Manor B&B. Our soil in Pembrokeshire is red in colour from the local sandstone content. This will stain cloth materials and other soft furnishings. You will be liable for any damages to property including bed linen, soft furnishings and towels if any specialist cleaning is required or property is replaced after your stay.

read more › From the M4 follow the A48 to Carmarthen and then the A40 to Haverfordwest. From Haverfordwest follow the road through the town centre and on towards Dale (B4327) for approx 6 miles. Shortly after passing through a small cross road hamlet called Hasguard Cross you will see a left hand junction sign posted St Ishmaels. Follow signs to "St Ishmaels Garden Centre" until you see signs to Monk Haven. Once in Monk Haven valley by the church you will see the sign for Monk Haven Manor - private road. Follow this road around and in to the parking space in front of the main house.
