If you happen to be the outdoors type then we also offer a drying room just in case the weather becomes inclement (not altogether unknown in the Lake District). read more › From the M6 Motorway - Turn off at Junction 40 (Penrith) and head West for Keswick. About 1 mile after passing the village of Threlkeld (about 13 miles from Penrith) look for a left turn (slip road) signposted Keswick, Windermere (A591), take this exit from the A66. At the bottom of the slip-road keep left then at the next t-junction turn right. After passing the Fire and Ambulance stations take the third turn on your left (Greta Street). Go straight over the next junction and at the next junction turn right - Rivendell Guest House will be found on the right hand side.
