The Lyndale Cottage Guest House is family run and will provide you with bed and breakfast accommodation in a comfortable home from home environment, with warm friendly service and personal attention, to help you relax and enjoy your stay. Lyndale Cottage Guest house Helston is the perfect location for exploring South West Cornwall. We are fortunate that its beautiful Cornish gardens, villages, beaches, coves and spectacular coastline are all within easy reach.

Helston is a bustling market town and we are only a ten-minute walk from the town centre and its galleries, shops, pubs and restaurants. Helston is the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly point in the UK, which is spectacular at all times of the year, home to the near extinct Cornish Chough and is now a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We have six comfortable, tastefully decorated guest bedrooms all with modern en-suite facilities with walk-in showers. All our bedrooms have a Digital Freeview colour television, Environmentally friendly toiletries, hairdryer and hospitality tray with Fair-trade teas, coffee and biscuits.

The Sanctuary started in the winter of 1958 when a baby seal, only a few hours old, was washed up on the beach at St Agnes.
Ken Jones lived with his wife just one hundred yards from the beach, he picked up the pup and took it back to his small garden.
For many years he ran a rescue centre for seals and oiled birds, with just one pool, at St Agnes.
The Helston Railway Preservation Society was the result, some ten years ago, of a vision by a small number of enthusiasts to re-open a section of the Helston Branch Line.
The M4, M5 and M6 motorways have made travel to Cornwall simple and straightforward, while within Cornwall itself, the two major holiday routes, the A30 and A38 continue to improve, with fast dual carriageways most of the way to Penzance.
The easiest way is to join the M5, which you then follow to Exeter, after which you take the A30 or A38 into Cornwall.
Leave the A30 at Scorrier and then follow the signs to Redruth and then to Helston.
Upon entering Helston, at the roundabout take the left hand lane and go past the Fire Station on the right.
