Durstone Cottages
Durstone Cottages are set in the beautiful rolling countryside of North Herefordshire, close to Bredenbury and Bromyard, 20 minutes away from gourmet Ludlow and only half an hour away from Worcester and the M5. With 4 rustic cottages sleeping between 2 and 22, we specialise in large family gatherings, reunions, group trips, house parties and big get-togethers.

We have large gardens, a games room, travel cots and high chairs so we welcome children of all ages. The cottages are situated in the heart of two neighbouring villages - Durstone Cottage is in Pencombe, half the way up a farm drive with panoramic views out to the Brecon Beacons from one side and the stunning Malvern Hills on the other. Little Cowarne Court, The Stables and The Tack Room are in the charming village of Little Cowarne, which is just 3 miles away from Pencombe.

All our cottages are close to the wedding venue Bredenbury Court. Durstone Cottage sleeps up to 22 in 9 bedrooms, and is ideal for large gatherings of family and friends.
Services
Little Cowarne Court is a 17 century court set in the centre of the small Herefordshire village of Little Cowarne.
With 7 double bedrooms and one triple, this holiday cottage comfortably sleeps 17 and is perfect for family reunions and parties.
Within the village there is a pub serving excellent food, just a 5 minute walk from this large holiday home.
The market town of Bromyard is 5 minutes drive and the towns of Hereford, Ludlow, Malvern and Worcester are all within half an hour.
Little Cowarne Court is on the same site as The Stables and The Tack Room so ideal for extended family parties, or groups of friends.
The Stables is a self catering holiday cottage that sleeps 6 people.
The building originally housed the Stables for Little Cowarne Court but has since been converted into luxurious holiday accommodation.
NOTE: The Stables is a double storey building which is attached to The Tack Room and when booked together they can run as one large house with internal connecting doors that can then sleep up to 10 guests.
These properties are popular with extended family groups as grandparents can enjoy the peace and calm of The Tack Room, before joining the rest of the family party in The Stables.
The Tack Room is beautifully converted as a modern holiday cottage sleeping 2 people in one bedroom in either twin or a super king bed, and a sofa bed in the lounge.
Access is level from the rear of the house; we have had many wheelchair users stay with us.
Accommodation is all located on the ground floor and the bathroom has a wide door and wet room so less able and wheelchair guests can be accommodated.
The Tack Room is an ideal holiday cottage for disabled visitors or those with limited mobility.
The Hophouse is a three-bedroom stunning barn conversion that has only been completed in 2019.
It has a fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine.
Then a very large dining and lounge area with seating and dining for 8 +.
Also downstairs there is a double/twin bedroom and a wet room that is accessible.
Going upstairs there are 2 double /twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with showers.
All of the cupboards are fully stocked with pots, pans, dishware and cutlery to make moving in for your stay hassle free.
The Loft is a one bedroom studio style loft fully fitted with everything you need for a cosy and comfortable stay.
With a stunning round kitchen, custom built to enhance rather than detract from the unique circular 'oast house' old hop drying kilns.
The bedroom and living area are cosy and yet provide enough space to relax and enjoy your stay.
The loft is situated at Little Cowarne Court with a fantastic pub within walking distance and countryside walks from your front door.
The Loft has a unique, custom built, circle kitchen to replicate the circle of the former historical Oast House building it is situated inside of.
