The perfect place to get away from everyday life, which was exactly what I was trying to achieve!
The roads around here are fantastic and I hope to come back up this way with the motorbike to apprecialte the area more!
So peaceful.
So perfect.
Many thanks for the cake too!
Holly Bush is the smallest of the four cottages and is situated at the northern end of the original 16th century listed barn (the other part of the barn makes up 'Tippets View').
This holiday cottage for two makes a perfect romantic getaway to enjoy the Herefordshire countryside.
Tippets View, like the other three cottages, offers a wealth of original exposed beams and an imaginative, full height living space, with lounge, dining area and kitchen.
We stumbled across a perfect location for a lovely girls weekend in the country.
Beautiful countryside, wonderful weather, great accommodation and the best of good friends.
Tastefully created from a listed 16th century barn, Stable End is the second largest of the four cottages, sleeping up to six in three bedrooms: one king size with en-suite shower room and two twins (one on the ground floor) plus another shower room/wc.
The well equipped kitchen reaches up to the roof and, from one side, leads off to the comfortable lounge and dining area with a staircase up to the mezzanine twin bedroom.
From the other side a corridor leads to the shower room, twin bedroom and upstairs double bedroom with en-suite facilities.
What a lovely conversion - suited us perfectly.
Thank you for a great holiday - somewhere quiet and relaxing to return to after a day out.
The wifi was a bonus for Jack.
The Hop Kiln was converted from a very historic hop drying barn and exudes great character.
The ground floor is open planned, with underfloor heating and has a large dining and social area.
A large spiral staircase leads you to the first floor where there are three bedrooms and two shower rooms.
The main bedroom is a double with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room and a further two bedrooms (one with large adult bunkbeds and the other with two single beds with one having another pull out bed underneath).
From Leominster take the A44 to Rhayader and, after passing Morrisons Supermarket on your left, it's important after about 3 miles to watch out for the right turn to keep you on the A44 for Rhayader (straight on is the A4112 to Brecon!).
About 2 miles after the turn you will arrive in the village of Pembridge.
Right in the centre of the village you will see, on your left, a pub called The Red Lion and, next to it, another called The New Inn.
Between the two pubs is a road to the left.
Follow this for about mile until you pass a crossroads where you continue straight on.
