Culligran Cottages in Glen Strathfarrar, Highlands of Scotland - comfortable self-catering accommodation for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. This beautiful, unspoilt, magical glen has it all - mountain scenery, lochs and river, Caledonian pinewood and breathtaking views of the unspoilt wild Highlands of Scotland. This well-established family-run business comprises a traditional 3-bedroom cottage and four Norwegian chalets (2 or 3 bedrooms).

Abundant wildlife, salmon and trout fishing, bird-watching, hill-walking, Strathfarrar Munro-bagging, cycling along the 17 miles of private road. We are well placed for visits to Glen Affric, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle or Inverness and the Black Isle. Culligran Cottages are the only holiday accommodation in this special glen and provide excellent value.

Fantastic week in this glen that reminds us of Narnia but instead of a wardrobe you enter via a gate - such varied scenery, a different view around every bend. The chalet is very well equipped and peaceful.
Services
Culligran Estate has 5 miles of mostly double-bank fishing on the River Farrar, divided into 3 beats.
The Farrar is one of the two main tributaries of the River Beauly, the other being the River Glass.
It flows through a Special Area of Conservation and a National Scenic Area.
The many named pools and varied terrain have much to offer both beginners and experienced fishers.
The Chalets and Cottage are one mile from Struy, at the eastern end of Glen Strathfarrar and half a mile beyond the locked gate at the entrance to the glen.
A gate key is provided along with the respective chalet or cottage key, on arrival at the gatekeeper's house.
Head north on the A9, over the Kessock Bridge and onto the Black Isle (not an island).
At the Tore roundabout, turn left for Beauly on A832 and follow signs to Beauly, turning left a couple of times.
Straight through Beauly, then approx one mile beyond, turn right onto A831 for Cannich/Struy etc.
