Bywater Holidays was established in 2002 to introduce the UK's inland waterways as a unique holiday destination. Founded by Stephen Rees-Jones, the company expanded in 2006 with the launch of Bywater Hotelboat Cruises by his daughter Hanna and partner John. After a decade of successful operation, the business was acquired by Rosie Cannon and Brian Skelton in 2017, who trained under the previous owners to master the intricacies of canal-based hospitality. Our luxury hotelboats, Kerala and Karnataka, offer exclusive charters for up to eight guests, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern comforts. With decades of collective experience in the waterways industry, we provide expertly curated routes through England's most scenic canal networks.
