Hamilton Cottages offer 3 self catering holiday cottages sleeping 4-6 people on the Isle of Arran. Our cottages are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing self catering holiday on the Isle of Arran including bed linen, towels and luxury touches such as Arran Aromatics hand soap. All 3 cottages have patio doors opening on to your own deck and our secluded garden, providing the perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee or a barbecue and for spotting red squirrels, barn owls, bats and many species of birds.
We offer off road parking, a child friendly garden, family games room and access to our two acres of private woodland with stream. All our self catering cottages have access to our family games room with pool table, table tennis and table football. Cosy Rosa Cottage is our smallest cottage (sleeps 4) and is perfect for couples or small families. Our accommodation is perfectly located for exploring the whole island.
We are just a 5 minute drive from the scenic harbour town of Blackwaterfoot with its beautiful sandy beach, small shops places to eat and unique 12 hole golf course!

Oh and then there's the two whiskey distilleries, the brewery, Arran Gin and the amazing food to be found around the island.
So whether your 9 or 99, a golfer, a mountain biker, a trail runner, a road biker, a kayaker, pony trekker, gorge walker or even fancy a relaxed break with some nice views then Arran has something to offer!

As you drive into Shiskine you will pass the '30' sign on your left hand side.
About 100m further down the road on your left you'll see the Hamilton Cottages sign.
Turn in to the small lane directly after the sign and continue about 20m down the lane until you see Shepherd's Cottage on your left.

By arrangement, for larger groups, the games room is also available for evening gatherings, group meetings and even small functions.
Groups like walking clubs or parties perhaps celebrating a special occasion who book all three cottages are free to make use of the room for evening social gatherings.
Some groups have converted it into a "Bistro" for evening meals by bringing in the patio tables and chairs and moving the games tables aside.
Please ask for details if this is of interest to your group, or if you are interested in making use of the room for a small function.

Our job is to show you the best trails for your skill set and we offer rides for all abilities and ages, ranging from an introduction to Arrans trails to half day or full day guided rides.
