Log Cabin No6 "The Lodge" and Log Cabin No7 are also perfect for a romantic break for two. These are high quality log cabins built in a traditional "Solid Log" method using slow growing Baltic Scandinavian pine. Kippford forest, close to Lochanview log Cabins No6 & No7 attract Red Squirrels, give them nuts and you can watch them feed. We have a stunning 2oo year old Beech tree very close to No6.

In the early hours of the morning in autunm you may hear the Badger foraging for food in the gardens at the back of the log cabins. The deer come down from the wood and have been seen roaming about the paddock grazing. Lochanview Log Cabins No6 & No7 are part of a small private development consisting of nine log cabins all privately owned set in a horseshoe formation round a small landscaped lochan in the centre.
