Oak House No.1, is a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, situated in beautiful Tetbury & offers guests a completely unique stay. Whilst there's no disguising the sumptuous and opulent styling of the interiors of our award winning boutique hotel, our main wish is that guests feel comfortable in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and, most importantly, leave with an experience to remember.

Everywhere you look there is some eye catching candy: origninal Andy Warhols on the walls, traditional English antiques, Phillippe Starck taps, decorative treasures fro world travels, put together with flair by owner Gary Kennedy and his partner Nicola, who make impeccable and fascinating hosts.
Eat breakfast communally with other guests; the atmosphere they have created is like a boho continental party of which Gertrude Stein would approve (guests have included The Stereophonics and Sir Tom Stoppard).

We decided to end our business and go travelling with our young son, in all for 11 years.
We eventually returned to settle back in the beautiful Cotswolds after living in many different parts of the world.

The Queen size sleigh bed has the best quality mattress and the world's finest Frette sheets, together with ultra soft Siberian Goose down pillows to ensure that your sleep quality is just perfect.

Our aim was to make the garden as interesting as the interiors of the house, with many different things to catch your eye.
Surrounded by high mellow stoned Cotswolds walls, there are different areas to sit either around the table for afternoon tea or on a secluded decked area with soft comfy sofas and shady umbrellas.
Plus you are within one minute of the town centre and it's array of antique shops, restaurants and pubs.

For each of the day tours you will be collected by our uniformed chauffeur outside Oak House No.1 in the morning (at a time that suits you) and dropped off and collected as you wish throughout the day.
Your driver will be flexible with the amount of time you wish to spend at each place and will advise you accordingly.
You will arrive back at the end of the day to Tetbury and your luxury hotel in the Cotswolds no later than 6pm, unless you wish to stay out longer.
The chauffeur is at your disposal at all times and you may return at whatever time you wish but additional hire charges apply after 6.00pm.
Your driver will be flexible with the amount of time you wish to spend at each place and will advise you accordingly.
