Bed and breakfast farmhouse accommodation and organic farm shop at Nantgwynfaen our working organic farm, in West Wales. In our farmhouse we serve organic local produce to our bed and breakfast visitors, including our own free-range eggs, own recipe sausages, dry cured bacon, homemade bread and marmalade, with local dairy produce. With crisp white cotton sheets, and freshly squeezed juice it will be your favourite bed and breakfast in Wales.

We have an extensive bi-lingual breakfast menu with some local Welsh favourites. Nantwgynfaen, certified by the Soil Association, is run in accordance with organic standards. We keep poultry, sometimes pigs, and rent the land organic farmers, Tom, Eva & Philip Cowcher who graze Welsh Black cattle, and sheep. As well as running our bed and breakfast, an organic farm shop, and making bespoke furniture, we also grow our own vegetables.

Visitors are welcome to walk the farm - there are orchards, streams, amazing hedgerows and wildlife - don't miss the bluebells in May.
Services
Our 170-year old Welsh farmhouse offers bed and breakfast accommodation in three bedrooms.
With en-suite bathrooms, there is a ground floor family suite (double & single in 2 rooms) and a double bedroom upstairs.
The bathrooms have baths and showers.
Guests have use of the dining room, which has a log burner, sofas and games.
An extra bed can be put in the smaller room to accommodate young children.
Our visitors enjoy crisp 100% cotton sheets, a selection of organic teas and coffee, local or homemade snacks and fresh flowers in the rooms.
The Glamavan was renovated recently.
It is our contribution to the Glamping, craze, not as extreme as camping in a tent (no creepy crawlies) and so much bigger than a gypsy caravan.
The style is vintage, retro, shabby chic, Cath Kidston.
It stands in it's own garden, on our organic farm with fabulous views over the Teifi Valley.
It is the only static caravan on the farm - you are not on a mobile home park or campsite.
There is an organic farm shop selling our homemade sausages and a B&B in the farmhouse.
Ty Mamgu, grandma's house' in Welsh, is a cosy cabin set in its own peaceful gardens, offering complete peace and privacy next to Home Field, but close enough to the Farmhouse to be able to pop across for the delicious breakfasts we provide.
It has a comfy sofa and armchair arranged around a log burner in the open plan living area along with a well equipped 'retro style' kitchen.
The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom comprising walk in shower, wash-stand style sink, bidet and toilet (all with fabulous views of the countryside).
West Wales is steeped in history.
We have ancient castles, museums, and the National Trust.
If you are short of time, visit the National Woollen Museum down the road in Drefach Velindre and Llanarchaeron (NT) outside Aberaeron.
Canoe, kayak, fish, play golf, walk and swim (or just sit by the fire and eat welsh cakes).
West Wales produces a wealth of local food, award winning cheeses, succulent lamb and an abundance of Welsh Black beef.
Fresh lobster & crab, laverbread & cockles, smoked trout and Carmarthen ham, make sure you take a taste of Wales home with you.
I travel a lot for work and spend up to 90 days a year away from home.
Nantgwynfaen has the most comfortable bed that I sleep in away from home; Ken and Amanda provide the best breakfasts anywhere.
Therefore I can say that they run the best B&B any where in the land.
It is the highlight of my annual travels.
Thank you for another excellent stay.
The most relaxing, hospitable overnight imaginable.
What a perfect place to spend the evening - topped only by the utterly magnificent breakfast.
We are leaving filled with inspiration, warmth, creativity and good humour.
