The Princess Royal
Whether you're joining us for a blissful break, long lunch, or evening drink, The Princess Royal pub in Farnham offers a classic, warm Fuller's welcome. Situated in leafy Surrey, there are plenty of things to do in the area, including trails and walks ideal for nature lovers, and a visit to historic sites such as Waverley Abbey. Golfers, too, are well catered for, with courses including Oak Park and Hankley Common nearby.

The Princess Royal is also conveniently close to the site of the Farnborough Air Show, making us an ideal stop-off to unwind after a day spent watching the skies. With so much care taken over our menus, dining at The Princess Royal is an activity in itself. We're open daily for beautiful breakfasts, leisurely lunches and special evening meals. Our dishes are prepared from the finest seasonal ingredients, which are locally sourced wherever possible.

Our menu is filled with traditional pub food, including the classic Sunday lunch with all the trimmings - perhaps enjoyed in the contemporary setting of our Waverley Room, or al fresco in our garden when the sun's shining.
Services
The Princess Royal pub dates back to 1926 when it was built for Courage Brewery by Guy Maxwell Alwin.
The building containing our Beautiful Bedrooms was built at a later date by Gales Brewery; which was acquired by Fuller's in 1999.
The entire property benefited from a full refurbishment in 2016.
Stone Age, Roman and Saxon dwellings have been found in Farnham, and as a result of such early settlement, it's packed with historical buildings and ruins.
Although The Princess Royal is relatively modern - designed in 1926 by British architect Guy Maxwell Aylwin - a Mesolithic site was discovered on the site of The Princess Royal three years before it was built.
