Situated in the village of North Rode between Congleton and Macclesfield, Yew Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast is surrounded by the beautiful pastures and wooded parkland of the Cheshire countryside. It is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday or short break away, perfectly located for visiting the Potteries, the magnificent historic houses of Cheshire and Derbyshire and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Peak District and Staffordshire Moorlands.

Fresh air, great walks and peaceful surroundings are the magic ingredients. There are walks from the doorstep through farmland or along canal banks with an abundance of wildlife. The pretty garden has breathtaking views of the rolling countryside and stunning sunsets. Yew Tree Farm Bed and Breakfast is also in a great location for those on business seeking a quality, restful stay within easy reach of the Potteries and Greater Manchester -just 20 minutes from the M6 motorway.

Our style is a relaxed country cottage with comfortable furnishings and a warm friendly atmosphere.

Sitting between the hills of Snowdonia and the Peak District, the Cheshire Plain (or what meteorologists call 'the Cheshire Gap') has a rich, sedimentary soil that is ideally suited to dairy farming.
The area around Yew Tree Farm offers pain free walking and gentle cycling.
We have created a circular farm walk for those who'd like to take an evening (or morning) stroll.
There are many delightful walks from Yew Tree Farm.
Why not visit the award winning Blaze Farm where delicious Hilly Billy ice cream is made using milk from their own dairy herd?
Whenever you come to visit us, at whatever time of the year, there is something going on in the local area.

This vibrant market is a fun way to spend a Sunday morning, gathering ingredients for a very local picnic lunch or why not stay and sample the street food on offer- the aromas make it difficult to resist.

Browse the stalls for antiques, jewellery and unique crafts as the live music brings the town to life.
It is a traditional working farm with 110 acres of grass fields which border a large lake, a stream and mature woodland.
Most of the beef cattle and sheep on the farm are bought in Scotland and Sheila is always particularly pleased when Malcolm returns from the market with a few more Highland cows - her favourites.
Other breeds include Limousin, Charolais and Shorthorn.
The stock graze outside until the autumn when they are brought inside the sheds for extra food and silage.
Other animals on the farm include Ben the collie sheepdog, ducks, and hens which provide fresh eggs for baking and guests' breakfasts, and goats.
