You can enjoy an environment that encourages wild bird and animal life. Rabbits, hares, and (if you're lucky!) deer are to be seen close to the accommodation, and many species of birds.
We have plenty of lovely walks nearby including a really pleasant canal trail on our doorstep. Just back from an amazing Easter weekend at Quail lodge. Will be recommending. Loved the lodge. Loved the hot tub. Loved the outside space. 2 adults 4 kids (mainly teenagers) and a puppy had an great time! We've had a brilliant stay in the Forge cottage.
It's a perfect getaway and James was an excellent host that has thought of every little detail to make your stay more enjoyable. Check in is 4pm to 6pm and checkout 10am. Your property will be ready from 4pm on your arrival day and the key will be in the door, if you arrive after 7pm please let us know and we will advise you of the key lock number.

We offer a get away from it all lifestyle holiday with hot tubs which are freshly filled for each guest, we have our own boreholes so we have a constant supply.
James, who's previous career was in the motor trade, takes care of the properties on a daily basis and can often be seen strimming, cutting grass and undertaking the endless maintenance work required to ensure the people staying in the properties have the best possible time, by keeping everything as clean, tidy and spic and span as possible.

Six Lodges & Three Converted Barns on a Working Yorkshire Farm Set in Parklands of Five Acres.
Three of the properties are beautiful barn conversions, carefully thought out and designed in 2010/11.
The main building, now made into two properties, has brick work and beams dating back to 1780 which have been incorporated to give a stunning impression as you enter the buildings.
The smaller property is reputed to have been built of the stone from a barn prior to the building of the 1780 version and is cosy and welcoming.
