Keeper's Cottage
Keeper's Cottage, in the charming settlement of Skeabost Bridge, provides comfortable accommodation for up to four people. The former gamekeeper's cottage, overlooking attractive Loch Snizort, is a perfect base for discovering Skye's beautiful scenery and diverse heritage. At Skeabost Bridge is the idyllic Skeabost Country House Hotel, with restaurant and bar and an 18-tee, nine-hole golf course open to the public.

Day and half day tickets are available for adjacent River Snizort, Skye's foremost salmon river. Nearby are many other opportunities for anglers and two pony trekking centres. Downstairs, the well-equipped cottage comprises a lounge, with two very comfortable two-seater settees and television / DVD player, a character kitchen with modern appliances, entrance hall and lobby.

Upstairs are two comfortable double bedrooms - one with a double bed and loch views, the other with twin beds - and a shower room and toilet. Heating is by electric storage heaters, with a traditional open fire available in the lounge.
Services
From the Skye Bridge take the A87 road to Portree.
Continue along the A87 in the direction of Uig and Dunvegan.
Then turn left on to the A850 Dunvegan road for about 2 miles.
After you have passed signs for the River Snizort and the Skeabost Country House Hotel you will see a sign pointing left along a minor road to Glenbernisdale.
Turn left into this road and then sharp right into the parking spaces to the right of Keeper's Cottage - which is the first house on the right hand side of the road.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
A lovely cottage and great to return to the Isle of Skye after 20 years.
Its castles and distinctive landscape are unique.
Expensive to eat out but would recommend the Portree Hotel, the Edinbane Inn and a takeaway from the Prince of India for a change.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
Our first stay on the Isle of Skye.
We loved every minute of it!
The cottage was a wonderful place to come back to after spending a day out in the wind & rain.
Until the next time!
Absolutely superb week, never been to the Isle of Skye before and it totally surpassed our expectations.
