The Manor at ANRAN is a beautiful old country house built in approximately 1840. A grade 2 listed building that has just recently been renovated to a deluxe hotel standard. The style whilst opulent is far from stuffy and our friends call it "casual chic-to almost quirky"! The barns were built in the late 1700's and remain pretty much as they were to this day.
Built of Devon and Cornish stone they are a classic example of the architecture of that era. Formerly an old dairy farm the buildings form a perfect courtyard. ANRAN has a variety of areas where one can have everything from a large scale function or intimate dinner party to corporate events and meetings. A wedding is probably one of the most important occasions in anyone's life and choosing the right venue is an important part of making the experience the most memorable for everyone.

Set within rolling hills and stunning countryside, you will find majestic grade 2-listed buildings and an adjacent dairy farm known by the locals as Tidwell.
In making this both our home and a place from where we can work, we have aspired to create luxurious accommodation with a variety of venue rental options as well as a photography and design studio on the premises.
Farming has restarted and we are proud to say that we have a variety of animals.
We have also planted a whole host of fruits and vegetables which we get to enjoy fresh from the kitchen garden and love to share with our family, friends and guests.

Our local team (dressed in country gear) provide lessons for those who have never held a gun before in their lives or for those more experience have a variety of shoot options available.

Mike and Edwin are the perfect hosts and both wonderful characters.
The ANRAN concept has developed even further than our previous visit and is idyllic to say the least.
I can honestly say that I have never stayed in such an informal and yet efficient hotel / B&B anywhere.
In some ways home from home but in other ways well beyond.
The design is outstanding and in keeping with the rural setting but many luxury hotels could learn a thing or two from this exceptional first class destination.
