Leeward Bed and Breakfast is situated in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, on a quiet lane in a pretty Broadland village, just a ten minute's walk from South Walsham Broad. South Walsham is a pretty Broadland village, located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, approximately mid-way between the mediaeval city of Norwich and the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth. South Walsham is a good place to base your visit to Norfolk and the Norfolk Broads. It is ideally situated for exploring the picturesque Norfolk Broads area. Bird watching and fishing are available in the village, and day boat hire and holiday shops can be found in nearby Wroxham, Acle, Horning and Potter Heigham.

The Norfolk Broads is an area with National Park status, and an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Gardens are just a 15 minute's walk from Leeward Bed and Breakfast.
The garden was left in trust by the 2nd Lord Fairhaven in 1973, and was opened to the public in 1975.
The garden is renowned for its fabulous collection of candelabra primulas.
It is a pretty, natural woodland and water garden.
Featuring a sensory garden, it also boasts an oak tree which is 950 years old and is frequented by over 90 species of birds throughout the seasons.
South Walsham is a typical Broadland village, and has two churches in the same churchyard (Norfolk has several instances of this) and one is now a study centre.
