Despite suffering at the hands of numerous marauding forces over the centuries, not least those of Cromwell, the Priory is in a remarkable state of preservation and is a must for all visitors to Cartmel. Apart from the Priory, Cartmel's other interesting feature must surely be its historic market square, surrounded by centuries old houses and Inns, the ancient fish slabs still survive and also the original Gatehouse.

We have from single rooms to family rooms available, the family room can cater for two adults and two children under twelve, we also have Deluxe Double/Twin rooms available, our Executive rooms have a bath and shower.
Rooms are available from 2pm on the day of your arrival, and you are kindly asked to vacate the room by 10.30am on the day of your departure.
