Mill View Cottage
Ravenscar is situated within the North York Moors National Park: a hugely diverse area offering a stunning coastline of towering cliffs, rocky shores and sandy beaches, and the largest continuous expanse of moorland in England and Wales. Millview Cottage is located on the edge of the village, at the southern end of Robin Hood's Bay, and midway between the seaside spa town of Scarborough and the fishing port of Whitby.

The local area is popular with walkers, cyclists and fossil hunters as well as those just wishing to relax whilst enjoying the stunning scenery. The Cleveland Way coastal path, the Whitby to Scarborough trailway, and the picturesque village of Robin Hoods Bay are all close by; and take the opportunity to explore Ravenscar itself for remnants of 'the town that never was'.

The area offers direct access to open moorland and forestry. The beach can be accessed from Ravenscar's 600 foot cliffs down a steeply winding path, or drive the short distance to Stoupe Beck and walk down the 130 steps to reach the shore from where, at low tide, it is an easy walk to the village of Robin Hood's Bay.
